Are you havin' a laugh?

For years I’ve been one of those people that goes to stand-up comedy gigs and sits there thinking “I could do that”, “I’m funnier than that guy”, “I bet these guys get heaps of chicks”.
As a scientist I decided to test my theory and give it a shot myself.
Here are the results of my second venture onto the stage:
Were my hypotheses correct? Was I funner than that guy?
Perhaps further research is required.
