No TV makes the Titman go something something...

In a few days time I will be moving into an apartment with a friend of mine in Vancouver and….we wont have a TV.
It’s a brave new world.
With the exception of a few camping trips and the 6 months my family spent travelling around Australia in a caravan when I was 8 (and even then we would find a TV at the caravan parks), for as far back as my memory takes me there has always been a TV in my life.
So understandably I enter into this with some hesitation. How will I handle such a big change? What does this mean for my life? Will I have to get hobbies? Will I have to socialise with people more? Read more books? Exercise often? Go crazy and try to kill my family in a Halloween special?
The macbook pro in front of me and the high speed internet connection I just organised says otherwise.
