Fine, now....but earlier

Stuck in a job that I hated, weighed down by societies expectations.
Took a trip to Canada….cleared me right up.
My life now is barely recognisable when compared to a couple months ago. Fortunately, that was exactly what I intended. I’m amazed at how easy and seamless this whole process has been. I sort of expected throwing my life into chaos to be well…..chaotic. Apparently it’s not.
Mostly it’s been a blur of couches, pubs and cold. I thank everyone who put me up for some of that time. Dave and Amy for making me feel like I hadn’t left home, Sharples for introducing me to canned soup dinners (and lunches) and Clarko and his crazy house-mates for providing entertaining situations to observe. I’ve got my own couch now and will be returning the favour* to anyone who chooses to venture this way.
Vancouver and the surrounding area is amazingly picturesque. The ocean and mountains on your doorstep is a novelty that won’t wear off any time soon. I love the culture here, the restaurants and pubs, it’s like what Perth would be if everyone living there wasn’t so backwards. It’s cold though…..so very cold. It’s a little odd that I’m heading to London for the warmth.
Thus the next phase of this adventure begins. Scotty emailed me my itinerary for the next three weeks. I think I might be able to squeeze in a blog somewhere on the 24th of December between Brussels and Berlin, baring unforseen circumstances. I think I might be able to see my sister too….if he lets me.
So London here we come hey?
*situations are not guaranteed to be entertaining for everyone.
