Stuck in Customs

The name of this post does not refer to any recent trips to America I have made or in fact airport/border customs of any form. Nor was I ever stuck anywhere, unless you count the uncomfortably crowded elevator with a old man who smelt like spearmint (I hate spearmint). What it does refer to is the blog and Flickr site of the amazing photographic artist, Trey Ratcliff.

I can, without hesitation, say that his photos are the most spectacular I have ever seen. While I’m hesitant to say he has surpassed Christian Fletcher as my favourite photographer just yet, his images have inspired me to seriously consider investing in some high quality photography equipment.

To describe them would be pointless. His photos speak more than a thousand words. They are more like a cacophony of memories, conversations, emotions from your past and imagination flooding your every sense.

I suspect looking at these images are as close to Synesthesia that many of us will get.
